The Pant You Need This Fall

Top | Pants | Purse (similar) | Shoes So Fall is officially here in Toronto and, as of now, I’m okay with it! I am honestly a Summer girl through and through. But, I definitely enjoy the crisp Fall air, the PSL (duh), and fall tones and colors. This Fall, I’ve decided to come out of my fashion comfort zone and try some new styles. The first new style that I am LOVING is the culotte pant. They are incredibly chic, super easy to style and so versatile! And, of course, I had to opt for white. Cause I am not about the no white after labor day, like why?! If you’re looking for a really chic pant for Fall, whether for work or play, definitely try the culotte pant. I think they’re so cute with a pair of heels, booties or even some pointy flats! I’ve rounded up some of my fave culotte’s below and will most definitely be adding more into my wardrobe this Fall! xo Lauren

My Favourite Places to Shop for Workout Clothing

Sports Bra (under $50) | Pants (under $100) | Shoes Hi guys! After posting the picture above to my Instagram, I got so many questions about where I like to shop for my workout clothing. I personally love affordable workout pieces that will last, that are comfortable and that are cute of course! I have a few places I like to shop based on price point and what I’m looking for in my workout clothing. My Favourite Places to Shop for Workout Clothing: 1. Shop Avacado The outfit I’m wearing above is from Shop Avacado and it is HANDS DOWN my favorite workout clothes I’ve ever worn. They are seamless and ultra soft! They come in two sizes XS-S and M-L. I am normally a size 6 and got the pants in an XS/S and the sports bra in M/L! 2. Stronger I love Stronger’s beautiful workout clothes! They are super stylish and well-made. Stronger is such a great brand for matching sets and they are great to work out in too! 3. Lorna Jane Lorna Jane has some amazing quality pieces that fit perfectly, moisture wicking and stylish! I love how you can even shop for jackets/hoodies and even accessories! One of my favorite and most supportive sports bras are from Lorna Jane. This bra is great for HIIT workouts, jogging or any type of cardio! 4. Forever 21 Not going to lie. I buy my fair share of workout clothing from F21 too! I love to buy leggings…

Girly

Dress | Sneakers (similar) | Purse I’ve never been into really girly items, to be honest. But when I saw this cute polka dot dress from Nasty Gal for 50% off I had to try it! Its super lightweight, flattering and SO cute with a pair of white kicks! I also wore it with heels for date night and it was super chic. The perfect versatile Summer dress in my opinion! I’ve never ordered from Nasty Gal before, but have to say, it was a good experience. Super fast shipping and a ton of cute, affordable items! I also snagged a really cute pair of jean shorts, which I’ll show you guys soon! xo Lauren

Currently Crushing On: Oversized Shirts

Top (it’s actually a dress) | Skirt | Sandals | Purse Happy Friday, babes! Lately, I’ve been in a pretty casual mood. Which is super rare for me, I know! Maybe it’s the hot weather. Or maybe my style is changing? All I know is I’ve been living in effortless and casual looks! A recent fave of mine is the oversized shirt. It’s so loose and comfy. Plus, it’s been keeping me SO cool in this super hot weather. I’m also a huge fan of the half tuck. So chic. And, if you guy’s haven’t noticed, I’ve been SO into colors too. I don’t know what has become of me, lol! Of course, this shirt is from Zara! Zara literally never fails to impress cause even this white skirt is from there too! I linked them both above. 🙂 Have a great weekend!! xo Lauren SaveSave

4 Easy Tips You Need to Shop at Boohoo

Top (sold out – similar) | Blazer (50% off) | Skirt I am a big believer in buying trendy threads at cheap prices! When it comes to super trendy pieces, I LOVE shopping at places like Boohoo. They literally always have 50% off  (for real) and they offer a massive selection of pieces. Because I’m a lover of trendy pieces for cheap I wanted to share 4 easy ways to shop Boohoo’s crazy selection like a pro! 4 Easy Tips You Need to Shop at Boohoo: 1. Know all the measurements: Just like shopping at any other online retailer, it’s important to know your measurements. Make sure to take measurements of your waist, hips, bust and keep them written down close to your computer. Then, when you find a piece you love you can make an informed decision on what size to purchase by using Boohoo’s size chart. Also, keep in mind Boohoo is a UK retailer and has the UK sizes listed on each product. Be sure to cross-check the size chart and find what your UK size is by finding your US size. I’m generally a size 8 UK and a size Small and 6 US, for reference. 2. Shop Boohoo’s category “Get the Look” Whenever I’m casually browsing Boohoo, but want to make sure I snag something trendy, I always shop under the category “Get the Look”. Boohoo has made online shopping super easy by categorizing what’s really trendy at the moment.  Currently, under that category, they…

OTS Top and Frills

Top (50% off!) | Shorts (50% off!) | Sandals | Purse Guys, if it was last year at this time, you wouldn’t catch me in shorts! You honestly wouldn’t even catch me in frills! I don’t know what is going on but my love for shorts this season is REAL! And I’ve been digging these ruffle pair from Boohoo, which are now 50% off. I’ve just been so into experimenting with my style this year. After just over a year of blogging, I’ve definitely become more open to trying new styles. Now I am definitely not saying I’m taking risks with fashion by any means, lol! But I am so excited to just try new things. Like shorts! Seriously, shorts and I have never been friends until this Summer. And I have to say I am totally about them! I also snagged this off the shoulder top from Boohoo for 50% off. Now it’s super cute and screams Summer. But the fit is a little wonky! I’m not sure if it’s maybe because I bought too big of a size. But I would suggest ordering your size in hopes it won’t constantly slip down like mine, lol! Talking about sales. Today is the first day the Nordstrom is public! I’m not a cardholder so I’m going to brave going to Nordstrom and hoping to snag a few styles! Happy Friday! xo Lauren
