So recently I asked on my Instagram stories what topics regarding motherhood were you guys most interested in me writing about. And honestly, I got a lot of HOW DO INFLUENCERS DO IT ALL? or HOW ARE YOU MANAGING WORKING AND MAMAHOOD?! And as I sit here with Poppy on my lap, smashing my keyboard, clicking my mouse and just generally causing chaos, I’m going to spill all. the. beans. on how I manage both motherhood and running my business full-time. Okay so, what’s the secret to all these mama influencers who run a business, do their wifely duties and be a mama without missing a beat? Well, honestly… A nanny lol. But, no really, that’s usually the secret that they don’t want to tell you. And although I have nothing against a little help, I wanted to share how I stay productive (hint: it’s not a nanny). Scroll below to read how I manage motherhood while working full-time. How I Manage Motherhood While Working Full-time: Spilling ALL the Beans!: 1. Pay for services that save you time I know that I may get a little slack for this but if you are in a position to pay for services to save you time, then do it! What’s changed my life as a mama and a business owner has been grocery delivery and having a cleaner come and clean my entire home bi-weekly. Prior to paying for these services, I used to spend hours a week on cleaning and a…
Okay, so Poppy will be 9 months on June 5th. And as the saying goes, time truly does fly once your baby is earthside. I honestly felt like 9 months pregnant felt like an eternity. Now I’m 9 months into motherhood and oddly enough felt like reflecting at Poppy’s 9 month mark. Reflecting on my past 9 months as a mother, Poppy’s past 9 months as a baby and reflecting on things I wish I knew or things I wish I was told. Which is why I wanted to write a blog post hoping that another new mama would stumble upon it to help prepare her for what motherhood is actually like besides what you see when scrolling on Instagram. Postpartum is a slow and hard journey Let’s start at the birth of your baby and the birth of a mama, literally. Postpartum is no joke. And even though you hear about how hard it is, I’m not sure if anything can prepare you for what to expect. For me, I thought I’d bounce back, HAHA! And not bounce back like get my body back. No, I already gave myself 6 months postpartum to “bounce back” (spoiler, I’m 9 months pp and still haven’t lost all the baby weight so the joke is truly on my pre-mama me). But I meant bounce…
Winter is literally right around the corner. And as much as I dislike the cold, I love dressing my little Poppy! So I thought I’d share a few pieces I’ve already gotten for her plus items I have in the cart. I also included boy pieces because H&M truly has such an amazing selection for both baby boy and baby girl. Finally, a bedroom refresh for the hubs and I! After spending the last few months working on baby girls nursery, my office and painting the house, it feels so nice to make our master bedroom a relaxing and inviting space. We knew we wanted to upgrade our room but we also had a budget in mind. So, we headed online to Ikea to spruce up our room on a budget!

To be honest, when I found out I was pregnant I couldn’t wait to get a bump just to style it! I know that sounds insanely silly but I knew I wanted to show my bump off and knowing I’d have a big bump in the Summer made me even more excited!
