5 Puffer Jackets You Need for Winter

As much as I’m over the cold and Winter (Spring, you’re free to show up at anytime now) I honestly love building my jacket wardrobe every year. I’ve been a huge fan of the teddy jacket the past couple of years. But, the puffer jackets have made a huge comeback, thanks to the 90’s trending in fashion, and I thought I’d give this trend a go! My metallic puffer jacket is from Shein (under $40) and actually pretty warm! I layered it with my black fuzzy turtleneck and I was so toasty. Besides my feet and face lol. I shared this puffer on Instagram stories and had such a great response to it that I decided to round up my favourite puffer jackets you need this Winter! My advice, get them all 😉 5 Puffer Jackets You Need for Winter: Shein Revolve Missguided Shopbop Pretty Little Thing Which puffer jacket is your favourite? xo Lauren

Layered Slip Dress

Happy 2019! First post of the year and I wanted to share a more dressier look and one of my favourite styles right now. Lately, I’ve been layering dresses and loving it. Especially when layering a little sparkle with a slip dress. It’s so fun to wear and gives you more coverage in the colder months. I’ve also been into layering my casual looks too, which I’ll be sharing more of this Winter. My slip dress and sheer tee are both from Shop Honey. And my boots are from Zara. I’ve linked some similar options below: Dress (similar) | Tee (similar) | Bootsxo Lauren

3 Ways to Shine and Stand Out in Your Casual Outfits

Jacket (50% off) | Sweater (50% off) | Jeans (50% off)| Bag (50% off) | Boots With the Holidays going strong and beautiful dresses everywhere, it can feel hard to shine and stand out in your casual outfits! And as tempting as it is to add sequins and glitter to every outfit, it’s just not practical. Creating a casual outfit to shine and stand out in can sometimes feel hard. Thankfully, Express has made it easy this Holiday season to not just shine with their Holiday pieces, but, with their casual pieces too. Below, I’m sharing my 3 ways to shine and stand out in your casual outfits with Express. 3 Ways to Shine and Stand Out in Your Casual Outfits: 1. Choose the right jacket One of the easiest ways to shine wearing a casual look is choosing the right jacket. Ditch the black puffer or peacoat for something more fun. A great jacket to help you shine is not only stylish but warm too. This faux fur lined boyfriend jacket literally checks off every box. It’s super warm, cozy and is very versatile, too! I love an oversized fit to make a statement. Plus, as the weather gets colder I can bundle more underneath because of it’s oversized fit! 2. Pick the perfect pair of pants As the weather gets colder, I like to swap out my light washed destroyed denim for darker wash denim. Sometimes, darker wash denim without some rips can be a little boring. I love how…

3 Dresses I’m Loving for The Holidays

Hey guys! It’s been a HOT minute since I posted last, which I am totally sorry about. Things have been busy over here. But, I do want to get into the habit of blogging regularly in the New Year again. So I guess I just set my first New Years Resolution, lol! So without further adieu, here are the 3 dresses I’ve been LOVING for the Holidays.   3 Dresses I’m Loving for The Holidays:   1. Glitter Gal K, this first dress is everything I’ve every dreamed of. It’s glittery (duh), fits like a dream and can be worn in multiple ways. I wore it with a sparkly bodysuit here and was totally obsessed with that look. Below, I styled it for more of an elegant Christmas party. And let’s just chat about how amazing these tights are. If you follow me on Instagram you’ll see me wearing a lot of these tights by From Rachel. I HIGHLY recommend checking them out they have great tights for every day and for the Holidays. Dress: Honey (or here) | Tights: From Rachel | Shoes: Forever 21 (similar) | Earrings: Swarovski (in blush here) 2. The Iconic LBD I mean, what girl doesn’t have her go-to LBD? I’m a huge Zara lover and knew I had to snag this cute faux leather LBD when I saw it. I’m also a huge sucker for floral and frills, so this dress just nailed it right on the head for me. And how Holiday-esque is…

My 5 Most Worn Pieces for Fall

Top (similar) | Skirt c/o | Tights | Boots (similar) I am definitely a creature of habit when it comes to day-to-day outfits. I love to have a few go-to pieces that I feel bring together almost any piece in my closet. And, obviously, my go-to pieces from season to season change. So far, this Fall, I’ve already found my go-to’s that I can’t stop reaching for! I’m all about a versatile closet with a few neutral pieces that just work (and a few printed pieces too)! My 5 Most Worn Pieces for Fall: 1. Neutral Turtleneck It gets so dang cold here in Toronto and a cozy turtleneck is a definite must! I love having a neutral turtleneck to pair with jeans, trousers, and skirts. And I personally get SO much wear out of my turtlenecks from Fall to Winter, it’s crazy. My tip for having a versatile Fall wardrobe is adding a lot of sweaters and turtlenecks. 2. Plaid Skirt Okay, honestly plaid is a new print for me this season. Crazy, I know. I’ve never been into plaid before. But this Fall I am dying over plaid everything. This plaid mini has been so versatile for me. I’ve worn it during the day, like above, and out for date night with a flirty blouse. It’s just such a great Fall staple. 3. Tights If you’re a cold weather girl you’ll already know that tights are not optional. I’ve already been grabbing for my tights all Fall long. Especially…
