The 1 Colour You Need to Try this Spring

Last weekend the weather in Toronto was GORGEOUS. Can’t say the same now, it’s almost like Spring came to tease us and now Winter is having its last stretch. At least there hasn’t been any more snow since Sunday *rolls eyes*. But in all honesty, the weather has been pretty mild so far this April and I really can’t complain. Plus, I’ve been able to go bare legged for a couple of days so far soooo that’s another WIN!

If you’re super excited, like me, for this Spring weather and are looking to add some colour into your wardrobe, well have I got the colour for you. Now before I let the secret out to which colour will be hot for Spring. Let me start off by saying I was never into this particular colour, ever! I felt like it just didn’t suit my skin tone and was just a weird colour to wear. But, my mind has definitely been changed and I’ll be adding more pieces of this colour into my Spring closet!

The 1 Color You Need to Try this Spring:

Okay, so drumroll please… the 1 colour you need to try for Spring is lavender! Lavender was all over the SS19 runways and has been making quite the appearance on the ‘gram. It’s definitely girly but it’s worth a try even if you tend to stay away from pinks and purples, like me. I’m loving lavender with denim (like what I’m wearing above). It would also look great with white jeans or shorts – duh.

Another way to style lavender, which I’m not sure I’ll be able to pull off, is with brown. Lavender and brown have been spotted together on the runway and, in all honesty, doesn’t look that bad! Not sure if I’ll be rocking that trendy combo though…
