Happy Monday, guys! I have sat staring at my monitor for a good hour, trying to figure out what to blog about. There has been so much happening in my life lately. And I’ve been unsure about what to share and what not to share. I debated making an entire post about this look, which honestly, I don’t have much to say about lol! I mean it’s one of my favorite looks lately. But, it’s kind of boring to read an entire post about why this look is my favorite. So, that being said I decided to start a new blog series. And become more open and raw with you guys! I mean, I personally LOVE blogger updates. So why not share some stuff and make a blog series about it, right?

The Life Edit: Condos, Struggling with Inspo + Blog Changes:

Okay, life has been cray-cray here are the Sheriff’s house. SO many big changes. Here’s the lo-down:

1. We bought a condo in the city!

And we are EXCITED! Toronto is a hot market for real estate. So to own real estate in Toronto is a big deal. And we feel beyond blessed and really excited! Well, I was excited at first but then got a major strike of anxiety for the past week. We bought a penthouse on level 35, which has a beautiful view of Toronto. That is of course amazing. But my anxiety got the best of me and had me thinking about “What if the elevator breaks down and I have to walk up 35 flights with 2 dogs (lol)” and “what if their’s a fire?!“. I know those thoughts sound like a stupid thing to have anxiety over. But it was seriously terrifying me!

And I don’t struggle with anxiety at all. Truthfully, my anxiety was really just crazy thoughts. I’m just not good at change and leaving a place I’ve called home for 3 years (I suffer from MAJOR homesickness)! It’s just so crazy how your mind can play negative situations over and over! Even crazier is when you let silly thoughts get the best of you and let them control you.

Anywhoooo, that was last week, but now I feel super excited about the move! And I’m really excited to share all the renos and decorating process of our condo!

2. No inspo for the ‘Gram

I’m not sure if all the life changes have me feeling this way, but, lately, I have no love for the ‘gram. I’ve been struggling with content creation, putting outfits together and creating IG stories. I’ve been in “Instagram slumps” before but this time it’s lasted so long! I may take a day off to recollect my self and my brand. But we’ll see! I always think to myself I’m going to take a day off of Instagram but haven’t done it yet!

Any tips on how you guys stay inspired on Instagram?

3. Re-focusing the blog

With the above being said, I’ve been really trying to figure out what I want to do with my blog. I’ve only been blogging for over a year and feel like I’m just figuring out my style/brand now. It really is a slow process and requires so much patience to truly fall into place.

I want to make my blog an inspirational place, that is full of fashion, beauty (going to delve into beauty I think) and lifestyle. Creating video content is something I really want to get into and stick to. I created 2 videos a few months back but wasn’t overly happy with them. So, I want to take more time on planning content creation and not be in a rush!
