Wine, Chocolate and Ruffles

Happy long weekend! This long weekend, Qais and my family headed out to Niagara-On-The-Lake and the Niagara region for some wine tasting. I’m such a wine lover and absolutely love spending the weekend wine tasting! If you haven’t gone wine tasting, you got to go, it’s really so fun and such a great time with friends or family!

I was invited to The Days of Wine and Chocolate taking place at select Niagara wineries. Firstly, this was basically my dream invite, lol! I love all things sweets, chocolates and of course, wine! I knew I was going to love the experience of wine pairings with desserts, but, the pairings and the new wineries I tried went beyond my expectations!

The really cool thing about The Days of Wine and Chocolate is that your pass is valid for all the weekends in February to check out all 26 wineries included in this event. The recommended amount of wineries to do per trip is 8 so you can definitely hit up all the wineries over a weekend or two! Nothing better than spending some time in a local hotel or Airbnb with your boo or girlfriends.

Some of my favourite wineries I visited so far (cause I think we’ll be going back to check out the rest of the wineries this weekend, lol) are Stratus Wines, Wayne Gretzky Estates, Reif Winery, The Hare Winery and Southbrook Winery. But honestly, it was hard to pick favourites because they were all SO good!
