Okay so two things I’m obsessed with lately; oversized sweaters and Levi’s jeans! This outfit is giving me all the 90’s feels and I LOVE IT! I just can’t get enough of this baby pink sweater paired with these light wash high rise Levi’s! Also, my other new obsession is pairing jeans with dainty sandal heels. I’m just looooving this whole vibe! So let’s talk about this ‘Cool Girl’ sweater from NA-KD. I think you need it for a Summer. I’m in love with everything about this sweater. My Top 5 Side Slit Skirts for Spring!

Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a relaxing long weekend spent with friends and family. Qais (pronounced K-ICE – like dice with a k) and I had Good Friday and Easter Sunday off, so we didn’t get a long weekend, but we enjoyed taking our time and enjoying the day! On Thursday evening we saw The Fate of the Furious with our pups at the drive in. On Friday we enjoyed the day in the city and went to one of our favourite places to eat (and has the best margaritas!) El Catrin. And then on Sunday we spent the morning shooting, enjoying coffee at Dark Horse and then having a homemade meal with our fam, courtesy of my husband! This look has become one of my go-to looks as the weather warms up! I’ve had this skirt since last Spring and love the cut and the length of it. I find it’s the perfect transitional skirt into Spring because of the coverage of the leg. Spring Date Night Look

Happy Friday, and more importantly Happy Good Friday! I am looking forward to enjoying this long weekend with my family and celebrating the real reason for Easter. I’m going to be keeping todays post short and sweet as I’m sure many of you have a fun filled weekend ahead! I wore this look last weekend for dinner celebrating my dad’s birthday. Sunday was absolutely amazing with temperatures that pushed above 20 Celsius. So I thought I would pull out my faux leather mini dress and my favourite blush suede moto jacket! I did wear this out with family and my hubby, but think it makes the cutest date night look. Blush is HUGE for spring right now and you can never go wrong with a simple monochromatic black and white look. These heels are pretty much my kryptonite! I just bought them on Sunday and I’ve worn them 4 or 5 times already, lol. But that just testifies to how comfortable they are. And they go with everything! I honestly just like the ease of styling neutrals and how versatile they are. You really have endless options when you have a good selection of neutrals in your closet. One of my go-to favourite neutrals to wear are nude and white. White and nude is a match made and heaven and such a flattering match at that! My Top 5 One Shoulder Dresses for Spring!

One shoulder dresses, one shoulder tops and one shoulder bodysuits are going to be everywhere. This 90’s trend that was so uncool for the past few years just made a huge return and you should probably jump on this bandwagon! I am loving the one shoulder dresses for this Spring! They really are easy to wear and really take me back to my youth (talk about an actual #tbt). I’m all about having pieces that look like you tried hard, but you actually didn’t. To me, this one shoulder dress looks so chic with literally no effort. All I did was pair my current favourite purse, a pair of heeled sandals and voila… the look is complete! Insta-Post: My Favourite Dress for Spring (under $30!)

Most of my outfit shots for my blog are shot usually before or after I wear a particular outfit that I love and decide I want it to be on the blog. And my #ootd shots for Instagram are snapped based on the day and what I’m wearing, but I don’t usually do a blog post with my daily outfit shots. But, I wore this cute little number last week for dinner, when the temps were slightly higher, and quickly snapped some shots while wearing it. I fully intended to do a actual shoot with this dress and post those on here and these on Instagram. Truthfully I actually liked how much more organic these pictures turned out and decided a few times a month I’m going to do a “insta-post”, which will be a outfit shot that was taken at the time I actually wore the outfit! The quality definitely isn’t as good as a DSLR but I feel like it’s a nice change up for the usual posts. Spring Must: The Perfect Denim Skirt (under $50!)

Today’s post is all about the one thing that every single girl has in her closet. That thing is denim! Incase you’ve been living under a rock for the past few seasons, denim has been a major trend! From denim on denim, distressed denim, 90’s inspired denim and denim accessories. Pretty much everything has been made in denim! And I have to say I’m pretty happy about this denim trend. I am a HUGE fan of denim skirts. Basically I used to live in denim skirts all throughout high school until they were #solastyear. My 3 Tips On Looking Presentable for Anything!

Today I’m talking about how to look presentable for anything! And I mean anythaaang! As a business owner, I spend a lot of time meeting new people and in different meetings. But, even in the fashion industry looking presentable, classy and business professional can be very important. Luckily though, the fashion industry is a little more fun when it comes to being presentable. Nevertheless, knowing how to put yourself together for a meeting with investors, your financial advisor or even just a coffee date is really important! Here are my 3 tips on how to look presentable for anything: DISCLAIMER: Do not mind my super messy hair! When we shot this it was SO cold and super windy (not to mention it just finished raining).
