Hey, lovelies! Things over here have been busy and a bit disorienting lately! You know when you travel and come back and take a million years to catch up on life. Well, that’s me right now! My blog posts are disorganized. And my plan for creating content is basically non-existent. But, I promise to get back on track soon!
Anyways, Toronto has *finally* warmed up! After, what felt like, an incredibly long Winter. So, I’ve been slowly starting to shop for all things Spring. As a self-proclaimed basic babe, I love adding staples and classics to my wardrobe. You can never have too many classics and you can never wear classics too much. So, here are my go-to classics for Spring:
3 Classics You Need for Spring:
Stripes
Show me someone who doesn’t think stripes are a classic! I mean really, no matter your age or style, stripes are ALWAYS a good idea! I personally love making my stripes sophisticated, if you will, by wearing them with crisp white trousers or a crisp white jean skirt. It just freshens up the classic stripes and adds a trendy flare! I love black and white stripes personally but navy and white are great for transitioning into the Summer with. Either way, adding a few stripes to your wardrobe is definitely a good idea!
Lightweight Trousers
A pair of lightweight trousers for Spring is everythaaang! Trousers aren’t just for the office. They’re great for date nights and look SO good with a flowy crop top. I love white trousers for Spring and even have a whole post on my love for white trousers here. My style tip is to get a good pair of white trousers. They are definitely an investment piece and a good pair won’t be see-through!
Nude Heels
Does anyone need convincing on why nude heels are always a good idea? I mean, a pair of nude heels should be mandatory in every women’s closet. They are versatile, chic and make your legs look miles long! I don’t know what’d do without nude heels in my life! If you don’t have a pair, try them for Spring with jeans, trousers and floral skirts. I promise they’ll pull your look together instantly.

Lovely, but I definitely would raise the hem of the trouser leg just a bit (2″) to avoid entanglement with the stileto!
YES! Totally agree on these 3 basics. Totally loving stripes right now.

Those shoes 😍 I need them in my life. This whole outfit is so perfect for spring. It’s finally warming up here in Pennsylvania too. It actually feels like spring! Great post.
I love these trousers! They are so pretty and flattering!
Trousers are so popular right now! I love ones that have stripes and tie in the front.
That is such a great outfit! I really love how it all works together but the trousers have to be my favorite part.
love the striped top and these pants are so chic!
