Currently Crushing On: Tularosa Label

Cardigan | Skirt | Bodysuit | Boots | Choker | Necklace | Purse | Sunglasses Happy Monday loves! I’ve recently fallen in love with a brand and I can’t get enough! It’s been a long while since I’ve found a label that I’ve fallen head over heels for. But, that dry spell is done and I have been CRUSHING on Tularosa. If you’ve never heard of Tularosa before, you can thank me later, lol! Tularosa is a vintage-inspired collection with a lot of textures, embroidery and just really well-made pieces. Their sweaters are fantastic and are SO warm and cozy. This pink cardi has been a style staple of mine all Winter long. I’ve worn it with jeans, shorts, dresses and travelling. And even though all it’s wear, it’s hasn’t pilled or had any signs of heavy use! The skirt I’m wearing is also Tularosa and is SO good! I haven’t been into really girly and fun pieces for a while. But when I saw this skirt I knew I needed it for Spring/Summer. It just reminds me of palm trees and warm weather. Which are two things Toronto definitely doesn’t have, lol! If you love quality pieces, that are fun, well made and staples for your closet. Check out Tularosa HERE. SO many good pieces you’ll love. I pinky promise! Thanks to Revolve for collaborating with me on this post! xo Lauren

Top 5 Statement Boots

Dress | Top (60% off) | Boots c/o | Purse I donut know what I would do without a cute pair of booties! But seriously, I don’t. I am a bootie girl through and through. And I honestly usually only gravitate towards solid colour boots. Like black and white. BUT, these silver mesh booties are seriously major and a definite must-have for Spring! Usually, when Spring rolls around I try to wear only sandals. This year though, booties with mini dresses are my thang! And hellooooo statement booties! I’m planning on adding a bunch of show-stopper booties in my Spring wardrobe. These beauties are by Raye from Revolve. I actually got them for Revolve Festival and didn’t realize how much wear I’d get out of them after! I’ve seriously worn these babies non-stop and with everything! I love how good they look with a pair of cropped jeans too! So let’s get on with it, shall we? Here are my top 5 statement boots… Top 5 Statement Boots: Raye Asos Kristin Cavallari Marc Fisher  Steve Madden xo Lauren

Denim for Spring with Marshalls

Top (50% off with code: savebabesave) | Jeans (similar) | Shoes c/o | Purse Happy Wednesday! I took a mini break from blogging and shooting new content over the Easter weekend so I could really enjoy time with family. Now I’m back and ready to talk everything fashion and bring you guys new looks. I’ve been talking a lot about denim recently. Specifically, my new found love for jeans! I recently wrote a blog post about my 5 must have jeans for Spring here. But little did I know, one of my fave retailers would be slaying the jean game! K, so guys, I recently took a trip to Marshalls and went straight to their contemporary section (my fave). And let me just say, their designer denim game is strong and SO cheap! I mean I got these jeans for $59 and they are regularly $118. Then, I snagged a pair of One Teaspoon jeans for… wait for it… $39! Those babies I’m wearing right here. I mean, damn, how are these beautiful designer jeans SO cheap and affordable. No idea, but I’ll take it, Marshalls, I’ll take it. So basically, this post is like an extension of last jean blog post. Because, if you are in the market for a killer pair of quality jeans for seriously the quarter of the price. Then, honey, you need to go to Marshall’s contemporary section NOW! You can thank me later. 😉 xo Lauren Thanks to Marshalls for collaborating with me on this…

5 Must Have Jeans for Spring

Top c/o | Jeans c/o | Shoes c/o | Purse Happy Wednesday! Guys, I don’t know what it is, but this year I’ve been really into jeans. Maybe it’s because I’ve had the opportunity to wear really amazing jeans lately. And because of that, I’ve fallen in love with jeans! I’ve never been one to ever spend on jeans. I always kept my jean budget $50 and under and was convinced I could find a great pair of jeans at that price. And honestly, I found a few pairs here and there that were great. But overall, jeans are something you should invest in. Especially if you’re planning on wearing them over and over again! Nothing is better than a good pair of well-fitting jeans that can last through many washes and multiple wears! So that being said, here are my top 5 must-have jeans for Spring! And trust me these are worth the splurge! 5 Must Have Jeans for Spring: GRLFRND DENIM (these babies are my most worn, best fitting and the jean I would recommend most) BDG JEANS (under $100 and great quality!) Top 5 Ruffle Pieces you Need for Spring!

Top | Jeans | Shoes (similar) | Purse I don’t know if it’s the time change (and more, much needed, sun) but I’ve been SO excited for Spring! This March in Toronto has been pretty good with barely any snow and above 0 degree celsius days! I’m so ready to bust out lighter pieces and brighter colours for Spring! One trend I always love for Spring is ruffles. Ruffles are so classic and feminine and embody warm weather in my opinion. I’m so excited to add ruffle skirts and tanks to my warm weather wardrobe. But for now, I’ve been adding light knits and long sleeve top ruffles everywhere I possibly can! This ruffle top from Shop Basic Babe is seriously soft and great way to transition from the Winter cold to cooler Spring days. I personally love it tucked into a pair of distressed straight leg jeans. This combo has become my uniform as of late! So I’m celebrating these warmer and longer days with my top 5 ruffle pieces you need in your closet in Spring! Bodysuits and Straight Leg Denim

Bodysuit | Jeans | Boots (similar) | Clutch Happy Monday, from New York City! I’m here for a quick trip for some Shop Basic Babe buying for Spring/Summer 2018. New York City always leaves me inspired and motivated to get back to the grind and to continue chasing my dreams! Who else loves NYC as much as I do?! Who else also loves this bodysuit trend and hope’s it stays forever?! I’ve always been the type to tuck in all my shirts and blouses. So this bodysuit thang can definitely stay. It just makes looking put together SO much easier! I am also loving the deep v, stripes and bell sleeves on this bodysuit. This top is seriously my cup of tea and I love how ridiculously easy it is to style! Also, if you haven’t hoped on the straight leg jean trend yet, why not?! They are totally fab and really make a look. It’s all about finding the right fit for your body though. These GRLFRND jeans are truly the perfect straight leg jean. And if you don’t mind the splurge I highly recommend them! Anyways, I’m off to the show to do some buying and I am planning on doing some damage, lol!! xo Lauren Thanks to Shein for collaborating with me on this post!

Trend to Try: The Pajama Shirt

Bodysuit | Jeans | Boots (similar) | Jacket | Purse Honestly, who would have thought it would be cool to wear your pajamas out in public? I mean in elementary school I always avoided pajama day cause I thought it was strange, lol. I clearly thought pajamas were for sleeping only and it took awhile for me to jump on this new trend! I’ve been seeing this trend everywhere lately! And it honestly hasn’t tickled my fancy. Most of the pajama trend has a lot of big prints on them. And as you guys know, I’m not a print kind of gal. But when I was at Zara last weekend I found this beauty and knew I had to have it! Firstly, I LOVE bodysuits so that was the first win. Secondly, it’s white and neutrals are always a win! After trying this on with my favourite jeans I am now officially a love of the pajama trend. And not to mention the materials for this pajama trend is silky (or faux silk in my case) goodness. Because I think you should try this trend too (why not?), I’ve linked a few fave pajama tops below. And no worries I didn’t link any crazy prints or colours! 😉   xo Lauren
