They are so dang flattering! You’re probably thinking “Yeah and LBD’S are extremely flattering too!“. And I would totally agree except for one reason and one reason only. Currently Crushing On: Eyelet and Ruffles LBD

Dress: H&M (only $19!!!) | Shoes: Charlotte Russe (similar) | Purse: Aldo (similar) | Sunglasses: Aldo (similar) | Lipstick: CoverGirl Katy Perry Coral Cat Okay, this dress is everythaaaang! But seriously, it actually is the perfect LBD. It has everything you’re looking for in a LBD. The ruffles and eyelets combined make it the perfect combo that you can wear almost anywhere! To think I was about to pass up on this dress too! I saw it at H&M and showed Qais. He told me he didn’t like it at all, so I decided to pass. He’s kinda like my brain for shopping, lol! Sometimes I get so overwhelmed and want everything. So what I do is ask him to see if he likes it and if he doesn’t I usually pass! But I kept coming back to the dress thinking maybe I could pull it off. I’ve never bought an LBD with eyelets and ruffles before. And I generally don’t buy many things with ruffles or eyelets either! I decided to take a super quick look at the price (cause ya never know…) and once I saw it was only $19 I knew I was gonna try it! So basically making a long story short is I wore it once for work and couldn’t stop wearing it! I’ve worn it 5 times in one week which I usually don’t do with any of my clothes. The Most Versatile LBD!

Dress: Missguided (50% off using code ‘gobabe’) | Shoes: Steve Madden (under $100) | Purse: Aldo | Sunglasses: Quay Up until recently my entire wardrobe consisted of 80% black. Truthfully, I was scared to wear colour and thought black was the easiest way to go. My wardrobe literally was black, white and grey! When I decided I wanted to start blogging I also decided I wanted to evolve my fashion too. I wanted to incorporate more colours, textures and patterns. And I wanted to try new styles I shied away from before! One style I always steered clear from was pleats. Why? I honestly don’t know, lol. I just never liked pleats and never wore them! So when I was browsing the Missguided website one day I came across this LBD with pleats. I was initially drawn to it because of the bell sleeves (I’m a huge fan of bell sleeves). So I purchased it and when it got delivered I HATED it! I was so so close to returning it but never got around to it. Looks like this procrastination worked in my favor because I decided to give it one last try…. and I LOVED it! Honestly, I don’t know why I disliked it so much when I first tried it on. If you follow me on Instagram or here on my blog, you’d see I’ve been obsessing over the pieces I got from NA-KD.com! I got the perfect Summer sweater (you can view the post here) and this amazing LBD that I am craaazy about! I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect LBD for a little while now. I am a big believer in having at least one amazing LBD in your closet. A LBD is so versatile and I specifically wanted one I could wear out for date night on warm Summer evenings. So when I saw that this one was a shift dress (I’m a huge lover of shift dresses!) and had a plunging back, I knew I had to have it! Plus, I am a total sucker for knots or bows at the back so that was a win too, lol! This dress can totally be dressed up or down.
