Today’s post is all about Winter whites! I personally wear white all throughout the Winter and Summer. I just love a good pair of white jeans and can’t resist adding them in to my weekly wardrobe rotation. I have a lot of people tell me they’re too scared to add white into their Winter wardrobe! So I’ve decided to write a post on my 3 steps on how to wear winter whites: (also, this is my first time wearing boyfriend cut jeans and I’m not sure they’re for me…)
1. KEEP IT COZY
So this step is for all my casual girls who want to wear white! The easiest way to turn white into a winter white is to pair it with a cozy knit. Nothing screams Winter then an oversized cardi or your favourite cable knit sweater. And, the perk about white denim is they practically go with any colour! I love wearing my white denim with a sweater tucked in. It’s a perfect look for running errands, a casual date night or even for work! Now, if you want to turn Winter white into Winter glam, you can totally substitute your cozy knit for your cutest blouse! Voila... two easy ways on how to wear Winter whites already!
2. IT’S ALL IN THE COLOURS
Another tip on keeping your whites winterized is the colours you wear it with. Winter colours are best to really make the look work. Stay away from any Summer florals or pastel colours. This will take your Winter whites right into Summer. I personally love pairing my Winter whites with neutrals (obviously) or hunter green or of course black! When I wear it with neutrals I always make sure to add a black bootie or jacket to make the look cold weather friendly!
3. LAYERING IS ALWAYS YOUR BFF
Layering is really a good rule of thumb when it comes to any cold weather fashion. I feel like layering can turn a pretty basic outfit into a whole new look. One of my favourite bloggers who knows how to layer is Emily Luciano! This girl can layer! Anyways, layering over your white denim will definitely make your outfit perfect for Winter. I layered my sweater under my moto jacket here and the options are really endless when it comes to layering.
