Date Night Look: Cozy and Chic

Today I am sharing a look I wore on date night the past weekend. Date night outfit ideas always stump me for some reason! Even after being married I still like to pull a look together to surprise my husband (which can be hard as he shoots all my looks!). So for my last date night I wanted to wear something that was chic but still cozy for this mild but rainy Winter we’ve been having! Okay so clearly I am a thigh high boot addict! I just love how they complete the look and take it up a notch. These thigh high boots from Forever 21 (under $60) have a stiletto heel which I LOVE for date night. It elongates the leg so nicely and just gives it that extra oomph the outfit needs. And obviously no girl can go wrong with a pair of beautiful black boots, am I right?! Since it’s been so rainy I’ve been wanting to feel cozy, even on date night. Cozy to me equals knits that are oversized! But I didn’t want my oversized turtleneck to ruin my date night outfit so I decided to wear one of my favourite skirts and give the turtleneck the classic tuck-in move. Such an easy way…

Style Dupe: Thigh High Boots for Under $60

Jacket | Dress (sold out – similar here) | Boots | Purse (old – similar here) | Sunglasses (similar here) Lately, I’ve had a crazy obsession with two things: the thigh high boots style and finding dupes of the Stuart Weitzman boots for under $100. I didn’t think I would find a nice looking pair of thigh high boots for under $100 and was ready to splurge for the sake of style. But, I stumbled across these thigh high boots style without even trying to find them (don’t you snag the best pieces when your not looking for them!?). I have to say that these are no Stuart Weitzman boots when it comes to comfort, but, they will definitely do the trick looks wise. No lie when I tell you that I found these fabulous boots at Forever 21 for under $60! I was so shocked at the price I even tried these on without looking at the size. Thankfully they were my size and the very last pair. Totally meant to be. Totally. As for fit, they fit great! True to size and even stay up on my leg. I love the pointed toe and the faux suede looks pretty good too. Overall, these dupes were worth it and I am so excited about them! My recommendation… get a pair for yourself! Shop My Look:
