3 Easy Tips on How To Shop Lower Priced Jackets (that look expensive!)

This week has been a whirlwind since I got back from NYC! It’s just been busy, busy, busy trying to catch up with work, life and of course the blog. Does anyone else come home from NYC 5 pounds heavier? Lol! I seriously can’t contain my appetite when I’m there! The food is just too good and I always tend to overeat and pay for it when I return home! Also, my wallet is always a lot lighter when I return home if you know what I mean, lol!! Talking about lighter wallets, I love a good jacket, but also love having a selection of jackets. That being said though, I do always splurge on my winter jacket (cause this girl can’t take the cold), but always like to have a few “fashion” jackets on hand. One of those jackets would be a moto jacket! I love a black moto jacket. They go with everything and can really turn any simple outfit into an edgy and trendy one! As much as I love the classic moto I am not always a huge fan of the price. I honestly don’t have the budget to spend $500+ on a nice leather moto jacket. As much as I’d LOVE to, I just can’t! Spring Date Night Look

Happy Friday, and more importantly Happy Good Friday! I am looking forward to enjoying this long weekend with my family and celebrating the real reason for Easter. I’m going to be keeping todays post short and sweet as I’m sure many of you have a fun filled weekend ahead! I wore this look last weekend for dinner celebrating my dad’s birthday. Sunday was absolutely amazing with temperatures that pushed above 20 Celsius. So I thought I would pull out my faux leather mini dress and my favourite blush suede moto jacket! I did wear this out with family and my hubby, but think it makes the cutest date night look. Blush is HUGE for spring right now and you can never go wrong with a simple monochromatic black and white look. These heels are pretty much my kryptonite! I just bought them on Sunday and I’ve worn them 4 or 5 times already, lol. But that just testifies to how comfortable they are. And they go with everything! Steve Madden has a similar style of these shoes with a stiletto heel that I will link above and below. I was originally going to snag those but love the comfort of a block heel.
