Denim for Spring with Marshalls

Top (50% off with code: savebabesave) | Jeans (similar) | Shoes c/o | Purse Happy Wednesday! I took a mini break from blogging and shooting new content over the Easter weekend so I could really enjoy time with family. Now I’m back and ready to talk everything fashion and bring you guys new looks. I’ve been talking a lot about denim recently. Specifically, my new found love for jeans! I recently wrote a blog post about my 5 must have jeans for Spring here. But little did I know, one of my fave retailers would be slaying the jean game! K, so guys, I recently took a trip to Marshalls and went straight to their contemporary section (my fave). And let me just say, their designer denim game is strong and SO cheap! I mean I got these jeans for $59 and they are regularly $118. Then, I snagged a pair of One Teaspoon jeans for… wait for it… $39! Those babies I’m wearing right here. I mean, damn, how are these beautiful designer jeans SO cheap and affordable. No idea, but I’ll take it, Marshalls, I’ll take it. So basically, this post is like an extension of last jean blog post. Because, if you are in the market for a killer pair of quality jeans for seriously the quarter of the price. Then, honey, you need to go to Marshall’s contemporary section NOW! You can thank me later. 😉 xo Lauren Thanks to Marshalls for collaborating with me on this…

Under $50 Denim You Need to Buy Right Now!

Top: Zara | Jeans: Zara | Purse: H&M (similar) | Sunglasses: Ray-Ban | Choker: Mejuri | Shoes: Sam Edelman (on sale!) You guys know I am not a huge jean girl, whatsoever! I feel most comfortable in skirts, dresses and trousers. I have always struggled to find the right pair of jeans for my body. They tend to always be too tight around my hips and too loose on my legs or butt. So annoying. So for awhile, I’ve just avoided jeans completely. But, as the cooler weather approaches, I’ve decided to give denim one last go. Firstly, who else is loooooving the high waist trend these past few seasons? Love it. I am so over low rise jeans, and honestly, high waist jeans feel so refreshing, and classy. Now I know high waist jeans aren’t for everybody’s shape. But if you’ve been looking for a fabulous pair of jeans that are on trend and a great fit, Zara high rise jeans are killing it! These are my second pair of high waist jeans from Zara! They have the perfect amount of stretch, but not too much that it will lose its shape. They’re stretchy throughout the leg, but stay up without a belt. Another win! I’ve just been so impressed with Zara this season, and think the denim quality has definitely been upgraded. So whether you’re looking for high waist babies, like these ones above, or these I wore last week here, I think you’ll really love Zara’s jeans this…

Spring Must: The Perfect Denim Skirt (under $50!)

Skirt: Missguided (available in a light wash here) | Top: Urban Planet (similar here) | Shoes: Forever 21 (only $29!) | Purse: Le Chateau | Sunglasses: Shades Crush Happy #humpday friends! Today’s post is all about the one thing that every single girl has in her closet. That thing is denim! Incase you’ve been living under a rock for the past few seasons, denim has been a major trend! From denim on denim, distressed denim, 90’s inspired denim and denim accessories. Pretty much everything has been made in denim! And I have to say I’m pretty happy about this denim trend. I am a HUGE fan of denim skirts. Basically I used to live in denim skirts all throughout high school until they were #solastyear. Do you remember how everyone used to wear Abercrombie and Hollister denim skirts with a polo (that was me and I thought I was so cool lol). Anyways, when I saw this distressed denim skirt from Missguided I was sooooo excited! Firstly, it’s white and white denim and me are two peas in a pod. And secondly, it was distressed and the perfect pencil skirt length. It truly was love at first sight. I couldn’t stop thinking of all the ways I could style this cute little number all Spring and Summer long. So when the temperatures hit 15 degrees Celsius this past Sunday I knew exactly what I was wearing! I just love the versatility of denim skirts and so many of them are waaaaay…
