Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a relaxing long weekend spent with friends and family. Qais (pronounced K-ICE – like dice with a k) and I had Good Friday and Easter Sunday off, so we didn’t get a long weekend, but we enjoyed taking our time and enjoying the day! On Thursday evening we saw The Fate of the Furious with our pups at the drive in. On Friday we enjoyed the day in the city and went to one of our favourite places to eat (and has the best margaritas!) El Catrin. And then on Sunday we spent the morning shooting, enjoying coffee at Dark Horse and then having a homemade meal with our fam, courtesy of my husband!

This look has become one of my go-to looks as the weather warms up! I’ve had this skirt since last Spring and love the cut and the length of it. I find it’s the perfect transitional skirt into Spring because of the coverage of the leg. So when their is a slight coolness in the air it keeps me warm and I just throw my beloved moto jacket over a tank or a tee! I actually wear this outfit more then I would like to admit, lol, it’s just one of my go-to’s when I have no idea what to wear! Side slit skirts are so flattering on any leg and are a nice change up from a back slit skirt or your typical mini skirt!
