I am definitely a creature of habit when it comes to day-to-day outfits. I love to have a few go-to pieces that I feel bring together almost any piece in my closet. And, obviously, my go-to pieces from season to season change. So far, this Fall, I’ve already found my go-to’s that I can’t stop reaching for! I’m all about a versatile closet with a few neutral pieces that just work (and a few printed pieces too)!
My 5 Most Worn Pieces for Fall:
1. Neutral Turtleneck
It gets so dang cold here in Toronto and a cozy turtleneck is a definite must! I love having a neutral turtleneck to pair with jeans, trousers, and skirts. And I personally get SO much wear out of my turtlenecks from Fall to Winter, it’s crazy. My tip for having a versatile Fall wardrobe is adding a lot of sweaters and turtlenecks.
2. Plaid Skirt
Okay, honestly plaid is a new print for me this season. Crazy, I know. I’ve never been into plaid before. But this Fall I am dying over plaid everything. This plaid mini has been so versatile for me. I’ve worn it during the day, like above, and out for date night with a flirty blouse. It’s just such a great Fall staple.
If you’re a cold weather girl you’ll already know that tights are not optional. I’ve already been grabbing for my tights all Fall long. Especially these tights that look like over the knee socks from “From Rachel“. They are so cute and such a staple in my wardrobe right now!
4. Sock Booties
If you’ve been reading my blog for a while, you already know. My obsession with sock booties is REAL. I mean, girrrrl. I could wear sock booties with every single outfit if I could. And now thinking about it, why can’t I? Lol! But for real. Sock booties are always my most worn boot all Fall long!
5. Wool hat
Did Fall really happen if you didn’t wear a wool hat? I say no. And I say this wool hat is my BFF when Fall rolls around. Between the rain and the bad hair days, this hat not only looks good but is super functional too. I’m looking to add a few more styles and colours to my wool hat collection this year, cause one hat just ain’t enough!
