I am a big believer in buying trendy threads at cheap prices! When it comes to super trendy pieces, I LOVE shopping at places like Boohoo. They literally always have 50% off (for real) and they offer a massive selection of pieces. Because I’m a lover of trendy pieces for cheap I wanted to share 4 easy ways to shop Boohoo’s crazy selection like a pro!
4 Easy Tips You Need to Shop at Boohoo:
1. Know all the measurements:
Just like shopping at any other online retailer, it’s important to know your measurements. Make sure to take measurements of your waist, hips, bust and keep them written down close to your computer. Then, when you find a piece you love you can make an informed decision on what size to purchase by using Boohoo’s size chart.
Also, keep in mind Boohoo is a UK retailer and has the UK sizes listed on each product. Be sure to cross-check the size chart and find what your UK size is by finding your US size. I’m generally a size 8 UK and a size Small and 6 US, for reference.
2. Shop Boohoo’s category “Get the Look”
Whenever I’m casually browsing Boohoo, but want to make sure I snag something trendy, I always shop under the category “Get the Look”. Boohoo has made online shopping super easy by categorizing what’s really trendy at the moment. Currently, under that category, they have “Fruit and Tropical“, “Utility” and “Florals” to name a few! Each category is well-curated with pieces you’ve definitely seen over and over again on the ‘Gram!
4. Understand it’s fast fashion, not quality fashion
Be prepared for some of the pieces you purchase to be on the “cheaper” side. I’ve bought a few decent pieces from Boohoo. But, overall, you’re buying cheap products that aren’t well made. Sometimes the fit will be slightly off and the material thin. Because of this, I highly recommend buying trendy pieces and not staples like jeans or blazers! The blazer I’m wearing above is Boohoo. Since it’s a mint double-breasted blazer I intended to only wear it a few times and I didn’t want to pay a fortune!
5. Know the shipping and return policy
I can vouge for Boohoo when it come’s to shipping! They are generally fast and if you’re Canadian you don’t pay for duties (well I haven’t yet)! I usually pick express shipping, cause I’m impatient, and it arrives in about 4 to 5 days. As for the return policy, Boohoo offers an easy online return and they offer full refunds!
