Guys, if you’re anything like me, you like to always have go-to staples in your closet for each season. Go-to staples, in my opinion, make pulling outfits together easier! A few staples can help keep you trendy and give you an effortless vibe. And what girl doesn’t want to look effortless each and every day? I know I do!

For me, I like to keep my staples affordable and neutral. That way, if it’s a trendy piece it won’t be hard to part with at the end of the season. And if it’s neutral, I’ll have so much more options to pair it with! These staples are key to great styling and will help you feel fab and pulled together for the rest of Fall!

3 Fall Items You Need in Your Closet Right Now:

1. Trendy item – A Corset Top / Faux Layer Blouse

Firstly, let me start off saying any trendy piece will make do here. I am just naming what I am wearing above. But, if you’re not a fan of the corset or layered top. Then try bell sleeves like here or a chenille cardigan, like here, instead! Every season, I always try to have a few really trendy pieces to play with. I love having fun with fashion and there is nothing wrong with buying a couple of trendy pieces each season! My tip would be to always save on trendy and splurge on a classic piece. Simple as that. So, if you are looking to really expand your wardrobe or feel more trendy. Then why not try a corset top?! They have been all the rage this season and are really such a fun piece to wear with a pair of jeans!

2. Practical Item – A Belt

Okay, I mean this one seems kind of obvious for most people. Truthfully, I never wear belts! But one of this season’s hottest accessory has been logo belts. Just like this Gucci one here that you’ve probably seen on every blogger! Now I can’t afford a beautiful belt like that Gucci one. But that’s okay. So many retailers have made a ton of really great belts to compliment any look. I love a thin belt with gold hardware with a pair of jeans. It’s so classy and practical. I am currently on a hunt for a lower priced belt that has the logo like the Gucci one! Hopefully, I’ll find a similar one soon!

3. Footwear – Sock Boots

If you follow me on Instagram, then you’re probably like “Okay, Lauren, can you PLEASE stop wearing/talking about your sock boots“. And yeah, I know, I wear them a lot. But in my defense, they are so neutral and versatile. I mean these little booties go with pretty much everything! If you are looking for a really great pair of boots that will make you feel sophisticated and on trend. Then, giiiirl, these are your booties!
