Fall Feels with Tularosa x Revolve

(full blog post on this look below coming next week!) Dress: Tularosa (tts and oversized fit!) | Jacket: Tularosa (tts and so warm!) | Shoes: Aldo | Purse: Forever 21 (similar) | Hat: H&M If only Fall could last just a little bit longer! The crisp air, the changing leaves and all the cozy turtlenecks and fuzzy bear jackets make Fall one of my favorite seasons. I love lots and lots of texture in the Fall and nothing beats a thick, warm and super chic turtleneck dress to do the trick! I mean this turtleneck dress is seriously a game changer in the world of turtlenecks. It’s incredibly soft, super warm, and the slit just adds that bit of flirt it needs! I love it paired with sock booties and it would be so cute with a belt to create more shape. If you’re in the market for a WARM dress for Fall into Winter. Then girrrrl, this is your dress! And if you’re into fuzzy bear jackets. Then girrrl, this is your jacket too! Fuzzy jackets can sometimes give your body a bulky shape. But, this Tularosa jacket is seriously cut perfectly and doesn’t give you that majorly oversized look! And is it ever warm too!! I know I say this a lot. But, I actually cannot take this jacket off! I mean it’s so soft and the colour goes with everything in my closet! AND, best part yet… is that both of these Tularosa pieces are 20% off along with everything…

The cooler weather has officially arrived and I think my bare legged days with skirts is almost over. As much as I love a good skirt, I also love everything and anything with bell sleeves! Is anyone else so happy that the bell sleeve trend is still around? A good bell sleeve top can go with everything and I seriously have only 2 on rotation that I wear more than a couple of times a week. You guys know I am all about versatile pieces. Instagram Edit + Fave Links of the Week!

Top | Jeans (not my fave tbh) | Boots | Jacket | Purse Dress | Shoes | Purse Bodysuit | Jeans Sweater | Boots |  Purse Happy Friday! This is the second post of my Instagram edit and favourite links of the week. I think I’ll do this type of post 2-3 times a month! It’s nice to share some of my favourite things right now with you guys and rounding up some of my favourite looks on Instagram! Here are a few things I’ve been loving lately:  Mushroom Soup – I made this early this week for the hubs and I and it was SO good! I let it simmer for 30 mins and added fresh thyme and the flavours were beyond amazing!! The hubs and I dipped freshly baked baguettes in the soup and it literally was the most delish soup! (This recipe is really easy too)! I’ve been sticking to a pretty solid work out routine lately! I love Rebecca Louise’s YouTube channel for a good workout and burn! Check out all her workout routines here. My guilty pleasure this week has been these champagne gummy bears I picked up at Saks Off 5th last weekend! And man they are strong, we opened them in the car and the entire car smelled like liquor lol! xo Lauren

3 Reasons Why I Love My Luxy Hair Extensions (more then my real hair)!

I always get so many messages on Instagram about my hair! Whether its real or not, what colour I dye it, how I curl it etc. Today, I decided to talk all about my locks (which you know by now are fake lol) and why I personally love my Luxy hair extensions more than my real hair! Hair extensions and I go way back! I’ve worn hair extensions for about 10 years now and I honestly love them. I know some people aren’t about that #fakehair life. But, hair extensions have a lot of pros when it comes to doing your hair and they can make you feel more confident too (and what girl doesn’t love that)!? Way, waaaaay back in the day when I was in high school I used to have real long hair like above. Because I loved to straighten my hair, and my hair is naturally curly, I decided to cut it to make it more manageable and easier to straighten. Now, this was a huge mistake since my hair grows like really, really slow! And, because I used to love to dye my hair back in high school which ultimately made it unhealthy. So, when I was 17 I decided to try hair extensions for the first time and never turned back. Now not all extensions are made the same. But, I’ll get more into that later. First here are the 3 reasons why I love my hair extensions more than my real hair: 3…

Pearl Sweater

Sweater: Shein | Skirt: Boohoo | Boots: Aldo (similar) | Purse: Similar | Sunglasses: Shades Crush Happy Monday! Qais and I had a great weekend and spent Sunday across the border doing a little shopping! One of our favorite shops to hit up is, of course, Target. We don’t have Target here in Canada anymore sadly so all Target trips are now extra special, lol! I snagged so many good deals at the Fashion Outlets of Niagara too and will be blogging about it soon. Pearl anything is basically my favorite trend this season. I keep slowly adding more and more pieces in with pearls. It’s just such a classic and feminine look! I posted about this pearl denim skirt that I am totally obsessed with and still wear all the time. So, when I saw this knit with pearls on it I knew it was going to easily be a favorite of mine. I love the sleeves and how heavy this sweater is! It’s going to be perfect for cold Winter days! It also comes in 3 other colors if light grey isn’t your thang. I honestly haven’t seen such a nice selection of pearl sweaters anywhere other then Shein. I mean I’ve seen a few at Anthro and Bloomingdales but those aren’t in my price range lol! I’ve linked a few other pearl sweater faves here:   xo Lauren Thanks to Shein for collaborating with me on this post!

Sweater Weather

Sweater: Boohoo (It’s petite but I’m 5″5 and it fit me perfectly!) | Jeans: ASOS | Shoes: Vince | Purse: Aldo | Sunglasses: Shades Crush Happy Friday! If you can’t tell, I’ve been really into cozy sweaters (duh, Fall) and darker colours. It’s actually been quite mild here in Toronto and sweater weather isn’t necessary. But, I am loving mixing my sweaters with my Summer heels. I literally can’t get enough! I am also so into crop sweaters paired with high waisted jeans. A definite must for Fall fashion! And this crop sweater can literally be paired with anything. That is why I love black and darker colours, they’re just so versatile! So if you’re looking for a cute, cozy and fashionable sweater to add to your Fall closet. This may be it! Plus, the distressed detailing just gives it that extra goodness! And I’ve also been getting a ton of love on these ASOS jeans on Instagram. I honestly love the faded grey and the true denim look. If you’re looking for a pair of flattering mom jeans for Fall, definitely grab these too! xo Lauren

3 Simple Tips to Rock an All Black Look

Dress: NA-KD | Kimono: YaYa & Co. (similar here) | Boots: Aldo (similar) | Purse: Aldo (on sale!) As the temperatures get cooler I tend to gravitate towards more darker colours in my closet. I know I am not the only girl that loves a good all black look. And, all black is a pretty good combo for almost any occasion. If I’m feeling blah I’ll wear all black, if I’m going to a cocktail party I always pull out an LBD, and if I don’t know what to wear to work all black is always my go-to, lol! I stopped buying black when I started blogging to really challenge my style. But, I’ve slowly started to add it back in hoping to improve how I style it! I mean black is pretty easy to style, but sometimes it can look drab or a little gothic, lol. I’m not a fan of a drab looking all black outfit. So, here are my 3 go-to tips for rocking an all-black look: 3 Simple Tips to Rock an All Black Look: 1. Show a little skin This may seem like a bad tip, especially for the colder months. But, hear me out. Showing just a little skin with an all black helps break it up. Now, I’m not saying A LOT of skin. Just even a little helps, like wearing a dress and showing a little leg. Or, even an off the shoulder top or even a choker sweater would totally do the…

5 Ways to be Productive When Working for Yourself

Since my early twenties, I have been an entrepreneur and have been working for myself. I’ve learned a lot over the past few years about being your own boss (which isn’t easy, especially when you’re young) and wanted to share a few of my tips on keeping productive while working for yourself! And if you don’t work for yourself but blog on the side, then this post is definitely for you too! 1. Create a schedule and stick to it The hardest part of being your own boss is motivating yourself to work. Sometimes all you do is procrastinate and then nothing ever gets accomplished. A key start to successfully working for yourself is creating a schedule and always sticking to it! When it comes to my day job I have my days of work, hours and what days I have off all scheduled on a company calender like an employee. When it comes to my blog schedule I always set which days I am doing what, the time I am doing it and what exactly I’ll be doing. I personally don’t use anything to schedule myself for my blog, because I set myself into a consistent routine and that works for me (which is usually shooting looks on days off and working on everything else mornings and evenings)! But, using a physical planner or using your calendar on your phone is a great way to keep track of your work and time! 2. Turn off all your distractions And when…
