3 Simple Tips to Rock an All Black Look

Dress: NA-KD | Kimono: YaYa & Co. (similar here) | Boots: Aldo (similar) | Purse: Aldo (on sale!) As the temperatures get cooler I tend to gravitate towards more darker colours in my closet. I know I am not the only girl that loves a good all black look. And, all black is a pretty good combo for almost any occasion. If I’m feeling blah I’ll wear all black, if I’m going to a cocktail party I always pull out an LBD, and if I don’t know what to wear to work all black is always my go-to, lol! I stopped buying black when I started blogging to really challenge my style. But, I’ve slowly started to add it back in hoping to improve how I style it! I mean black is pretty easy to style, but sometimes it can look drab or a little gothic, lol. I’m not a fan of a drab looking all black outfit. So, here are my 3 go-to tips for rocking an all-black look: 3 Simple Tips to Rock an All Black Look: 1. Show a little skin This may seem like a bad tip, especially for the colder months. But, hear me out. Showing just a little skin with an all black helps break it up. Now, I’m not saying A LOT of skin. Just even a little helps, like wearing a dress and showing a little leg. Or, even an off the shoulder top or even a choker sweater would totally do the…

Vest: Dynamite | Top: Dynamite (similar) | Pants: Missguided | Purse: Foley + Corinna c/o | Sunglasses: Ray-Ban | Bracelet: Paul Hewitt c/o | Choker: Mejuri c/o | Shoes: Sam Edelman Guys, as you know I am currently obsessed with sleeveless vests! I don’t know what has come over me but I absolutely love wearing a flowy vest with a tight dress or a pair of cigarette pants, jeans, shorts you name it! I feel like it pulls my look together and gives a chic and sophisticated vibe to the outfit. And what girl wouldn’t want that?! I’m literally cray cray for vests, lol! This blush vest was definitely an impulse buy, and boy, was it totally worth it! I was at an outlet mall looking for a pair of black pumps and decided to pop into Dynamite. When I walked in it was basically calling my name, lol! And no matter how much I tried to resist it, I just couldn’t and took it home with me. I’ve already worn it 5 times and I’ve only had it little over a week. So was it worth it? Yes, definitely, yes! Also, real quick, these cigarette pants from Misguided has been on my must have list for a while. As you guys know, I’m not much of a jean girl. I just prefer a good pair of trousers and this is that! They fit true to size and are extremely flattering. I also love how soft and roomy they are for…

Date Night Look: Under $100

Top: Dynamite | Skirt: Charlotte Russe | Boots: Aldo (sold out – similar here) | Purse: Aldo (old – love this one) | Sunglasses: Ray-Ban | Watch: Rosefield Happy #friyay! Today I’m sharing a really quick and easy date night outfit for under $100 in honor of Friday night date night. My hubby and I go on date night every week, it’s really rare that we ever miss a date. We have been together for 9 years (married for 2 of those 9) and I still love to dress up for him. Corny, but true. I really like to mix casual pieces into my date night look to make it more practical and comfortable. And since our date nights usually revolve around eating (huge foodie here!), wearing something comfortable always helps when I “accidentally” over-indulge! 🙂 If you saw my last post you would know how I am for mixing Summer pieces into my Winter wardrobe (you can read my tips about that here). This look was no exception and this Charlotte Russe skirt was a piece that I bought last Summer. I love pairing last season items with current season trends. It’s such an easy way to create a different outfit over and over again. Anyway, to finish off this look and to add a bit of comfort I paired this skirt with my Dynamite off-the-shoulder choker top. And my all time favorite thigh high boots! Both skirt and top are on sale right now! (I’ve linked them below and above)…
