The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is here (for some) and for others like me (I’m Canadian so ours starts later in the month) we just have to wait to snag a few finds! But, in the meantime, I thought I would share some of my favourite finds from Nordstrom juuuust in case you’re one of those lucky ones who can already shop the sale.
As my due date swiftly approaches I’ve been checking off all my final to-do’s on my list. At the top of my list has always been safety and how I will keep baby girl safe as a newborn. I’m a first time mom, so when I think safety, one of the things I think about is her sleeping safely in her bassinet or crib during the night.
Honestly guys, we’ve been incredibly lucky to have our maternity photos taken by two very talented photographers. Today on the blog, I’m going to share one out of two of the maternity photoshoots we had the pleasure of doing. If you’re in the GTA and looking for beautiful shots be sure to check out Catherine for maternity, newborn, wedding and couple photography.
Guys, my last post “The Best Non-Maternity Pieces During Pregnancy: Part 1” was so popular, I decided to do a part 2 and include some maternity pieces as well!
I hear it all the time. Do I really need to buy maternity pieces when I’m pregnant? Honestly, no. You don’t. I for one, am a huge fan of maternity pieces for multiple reasons.
Finally, a bedroom refresh for the hubs and I! After spending the last few months working on baby girls nursery, my office and painting the house, it feels so nice to make our master bedroom a relaxing and inviting space. We knew we wanted to upgrade our room but we also had a budget in mind. So, we headed online to Ikea to spruce up our room on a budget!
Buying for my baby girl has been so exciting. From picking out her hospital outfit to her nightly sleepers. It’s truly been such a joy shopping for my sweet baby girl. My focus has really been on quality over quantity and supporting local businesses, when possible.
Mirror | Shelf (no longer available – similar)| Face Vase | Jug | Pampas Grass | Baskets | Floor Basket | Tank (code laurenevasheriff for 20% off) | Biker Shorts ($11!) My front hallway has been such a plain boring sight since I moved in a few months back. I was going back and fourth with ideas, from building a bench to just doing some peg hooks for some extra storage space. Thanks to Pinterest, my vision for my front hallway became a little more clearer. I opted for a circle mirror and simple shelf for a little oomph and storage. I knew I wanted to keep a boho vibe throughout my house, just like my nursery, and went for beech wood, pampas grass and straw to keep thins simple yet chic. Plus, everything pictured is under $100! Making this hallway reveal not only stylish but super affordable too. Now the only thing missing is some square ottomans or foot stools to keep under the shelf for a place to put on shoes! xo Lauren
