I’ve been dying to try this mesh trend for a while, but haven’t cared much for some of the styles I’ve previously seen. I saw a lot that were mesh maxi dresses with floral embroidery, and tops as well. I don’t like the idea of having to buy a slip under a dress or a tank to put under a see through mesh shirt, so I decided to pass on both styles! Personally, I like when a dress or top come with something underneath to make it not see through!
But, when I saw this embroidered pencil skirt number on Missguided, I decided to give it a go! It is an extremely cute trendy piece to have in your Summer wardrobe that’s for sure! I would suggest sizing up since it is a little on the small side, and I was barely able to breathe in my true size, lol! I really liked pairing it with this basic crop top from h&m ($3.99!!), and thought it would even be cute with a basic white tee too! Honestly, this won’t be a piece that will get a ton of rotation in my wardrobe. But, it’s really cute and unique and a great show stopper to pull out on date night! With that being said, here are my top 5 faaaaaaave mesh pieces for Summer (all with layers included underneath, lol)!
