Top 5 Linen Dresses for Spring

Dress (similar) | Shoes (similar) | Hat | Purse | Sunglasses This Spring, I’ve been adding a TON of lightweight linen dresses to my wardrobe. They are so breezy and easy-to-wear. One of my favorite ways to style a linen dress is with a cute pair of kicks and gold accessories! I’ve also been loving deep-v necklines for a little bit of flirtiness and a bit of oomph. A linen dress is perfect for the weekends, running errands and even date night! So why not add a cute, easy-breezy dress to you’re Spring/Summer wardrobe? Top 5 Statement Boots

Dress | Top (60% off) | Boots c/o | Purse I donut know what I would do without a cute pair of booties! But seriously, I don’t. I am a bootie girl through and through. And I honestly usually only gravitate towards solid colour boots. Like black and white. BUT, these silver mesh booties are seriously major and a definite must-have for Spring! Usually, when Spring rolls around I try to wear only sandals. This year though, booties with mini dresses are my thang! And hellooooo statement booties! I’m planning on adding a bunch of show-stopper booties in my Spring wardrobe. These beauties are by Raye from Revolve. I actually got them for Revolve Festival and didn’t realize how much wear I’d get out of them after! I’ve seriously worn these babies non-stop and with everything! I love how good they look with a pair of cropped jeans too! So let’s get on with it, shall we? Pants (similar) | Top | Shoes (similar) | Purse Happy Friday! What a crazy week it has been! I started my week off in NYC, which always inspires me and makes me want to move there pronto! I told Qais we should move to NYC for a year then to LA where we actually want to end up lol. It was such a quick trip in and out of NYC. I was there buying for Shop Basic Babe. But for some reason, it took me 2 days to recover and to finally feel energized. It’s so weird how much travelling takes out of you! Although, I picked up some REALLY cute items for Shop Basic Babe. So I can’t wait to show you guys those pieces!! Anyways, I am SO into wide leg pants lately. I only own one pair, but I’m making it my mission to add much more for Spring. It was 14 degrees Celcius a couple days ago in Toronto. So I threw on this blouse and these white wide leg trousers for the ultimate Spring transition look! My 5 Most Worn Pieces for Winter (you might wanna snag these!)

Jacket (c/o) | Top | Cardigan | Jeans (on sale!) | Belt | Boots (similar) | Purse (on sale!) | Beanie (similar) Fashion bloggers are notoriously known for wearing clothes once and then frivolously replacing them with something new! While being a Fashion Blogger does entail a new wardrobe quite often. The truth is most bloggers #offduty most do tend to repeat on the regular. Well, I can’t speak for every fashion blogger, but I re-wear multiple pieces and outfits multiple times throughout the week! To be honest, even when I’m gifted an item I make sure it’s something practical for me and versatile enough to wear over and over. I don’t see any point in having pieces you wear once and then give away. And trust me, when I first starting blogging I had LOTS of those pieces. It bothered me how little I wore them. So, this season in particular, I decided to invest and choose pieces I knew I’d wear non-stop! So that being said, here are my top 5 worn pieces from this Winter season! Top 5 Camel Coats for Under $200

Coat | Dress (under $50) | Boots (sold out – similar)| Purse The blazer coat is the ultimate sophisticated Winter essential, in my opinion. I love how you can wear it with your best dress or with a pair of your fave yoga leggings and kicks. It’s seriously versatile. Seriously chic. And looks good on everyone! I’ve been dying to get my hands on a nice blazer coat since last Winter. But, I always have a budget in mind and really didn’t want to spend too much. Being from a cold climate, I love having a wide variety of jackets to wear! I mean I am a fashion blogger, so choice is essential lol! Because of this, the right price is super key for me. My sweet spot for my “not every day” jackets would honestly be under $100! Now, this price is pretty unrealistic for a well-made jacket. But, I did snag this one from Missguided on sale for $80. I know that many people, like me, like to spend a decent amount on jackets too. I mean a jacket like this is classic, so I most likely won’t be replacing this one anytime soon! That being said, here are my top 5 camel coats for under $200. Top 5 Camel Coats for Under $200: Missguided PrettyLittleThing TopShop Boohoo NA-KD (not camel but I love it in blush) xo Lauren

Top 5 Cozy Cardigans

Cardigan (on sale!) | Jeans | Bodysuit | Purse I’m officially in hibernation season! January, in Toronto, typically is super snowy and extremely cold. Which means it’s time for me to get the house all cozy and my wardrobe cozy too! And if you live in a cold climate, you’ll know exactly what I’m talking about, lol! It just takes so much energy to go outside when it’s freezing! After Qais and I finish shooting for the blog in the cold we’re ready to stuff our face with carbs. And to just flop on the couch, #truestory. I mean, the cold can go now! So ready for Spring. Ready for the warmth! And so ready for not freezing my butt off when shooting looks, lol! But until Spring slowly comes I’ll be cuddled in the cosiest cardigans. Including this navy blue distressed chenille number from Shop Basic Babe. It’s SO warm and super soft! It’s also on sale too for under $40!! Top 5 Cozy Cardigans: Boohoo Urban Outfitters Basic Babe Nordstrom Revolve xo Lauren

Top 5 Oversized Cardigans

Cardigan: Basic Babe |  Top: Basic Babe | Skirt: Basic Babe | Boots: Marc Fisher (sold out – similar) | Purse: Le Chateau | Hat: H&M The Christmas countdown is seriously on in the Sheriff home. I’m the type of person who doesn’t get excited about something until a couple days away! And I can now, safely say, I am SO excited for Christmas! All my Christmas shopping is done, so now I can look forward to time with the family and celebrating the reason for the season! I can’t wait!! 🙂 One essential in my closet, for Wintertime, is an oversized cardi. There are so many different types of oversized cardigans and I like to try and have them all, lol! The most classic oversized cardigan, that you probably know and love, is the soft and long cosy cardi. Which is a definite essential in chilly weather. I also love a sophisticated oversized cardi for meetings, work, etc. Something you can throw over your outfit, be comfortable but still look professional. That’s one of the reasons I love the Marissa cardi from Shop Basic Babe. I always love having a piece that can go from work to play. I think it’s so important to have pieces that look professional but can be worn casually too! That being said, here are my top 5 favourite oversized cardi’s of the season: Top 5 Oversized Cardigans: Basic Babe Revolve H&M Goodnight Macaroon Boohoo xo Lauren
