My Top 5 One Shoulder Dresses for Spring!

Dress: Missguided (50% off!) | Shoes: Forever 21 (similar here) | Purse: Le Chateau (under $50!) | Sunglasses: Similar  Happy Monday! A huge trend this season is one shouldered anything! One shoulder dresses, one shoulder tops and one shoulder bodysuits are going to be everywhere. This 90’s trend that was so uncool for the past few years just made a huge return and you should probably jump on this bandwagon! I am loving the one shoulder dresses for this Spring! They really are easy to wear and really take me back to my youth (talk about an actual #tbt). I’m all about having pieces that look like you tried hard, but you actually didn’t. To me, this one shoulder dress looks so chic with literally no effort. All I did was pair my current favourite purse, a pair of heeled sandals and voila… the look is complete! My dress if from Missguided (not surprising!) and is still on sale for 50% off with code ‘foreals’. It does fit true to size but is on the shorter side. So if you want a little more length I would recommend to size up. And because I am totally crushing on this one shoulder trend, I’ve rounded up my top 5 one shoulder dresses for Spring and Summer. Check out my must have list here: MISSGUIDED BLUE SHOULDER RUFFLE DRESS ($27.50) H&M POWDER PINK ONE SHOULDER DRESS ($19.99) SHEIN ONE SHOULDER TASSEL DRESS ($22.00) ASOS ONE SHOULDER RUFFLE FRONT DRESS ($49.00) MINK PINK…

Insta-Post: My Favourite Dress for Spring (under $30!)

Dress: SheIn c/o | Shoes: Charlotte Russe | Purse: Le Chateau It’s finally Friday and I’ve decided to try a new post type on the blog today! Most of my outfit shots for my blog are shot usually before or after I wear a particular outfit that I love and decide I want it to be on the blog. And my #ootd shots for Instagram are snapped based on the day and what I’m wearing, but I don’t usually do a blog post with my daily outfit shots. But, I wore this cute little number last week for dinner, when the temps were slightly higher, and quickly snapped some shots while wearing it. I fully intended to do a actual shoot with this dress and post those on here and these on Instagram. Truthfully I actually liked how much more organic these pictures turned out and decided a few times a month I’m going to do a “insta-post”, which will be a outfit shot that was taken at the time I actually wore the outfit! The quality definitely isn’t as good as a DSLR but I feel like it’s a nice change up for the usual posts. Honestly, this dress is SO versatile and can definitely be worn to a baby shower, guest of wedding, out for date night and dressed down with flats or sandals for a day in the sun! I absolutely adore the colour blocking and how easy this is to wear! It’s one of those pieces that…

Spring Must: The Perfect Denim Skirt (under $50!)

Skirt: Missguided (available in a light wash here) | Top: Urban Planet (similar here) | Shoes: Forever 21 (only $29!) | Purse: Le Chateau | Sunglasses: Shades Crush Happy #humpday friends! Today’s post is all about the one thing that every single girl has in her closet. That thing is denim! Incase you’ve been living under a rock for the past few seasons, denim has been a major trend! From denim on denim, distressed denim, 90’s inspired denim and denim accessories. Pretty much everything has been made in denim! And I have to say I’m pretty happy about this denim trend. I am a HUGE fan of denim skirts. Basically I used to live in denim skirts all throughout high school until they were #solastyear. Do you remember how everyone used to wear Abercrombie and Hollister denim skirts with a polo (that was me and I thought I was so cool lol). Anyways, when I saw this distressed denim skirt from Missguided I was sooooo excited! Firstly, it’s white and white denim and me are two peas in a pod. And secondly, it was distressed and the perfect pencil skirt length. It truly was love at first sight. I couldn’t stop thinking of all the ways I could style this cute little number all Spring and Summer long. So when the temperatures hit 15 degrees Celsius this past Sunday I knew exactly what I was wearing! I just love the versatility of denim skirts and so many of them are waaaaay…

Spring Fave: Ribbed Bell Sleeve Top

Top: Missguided (similar here & here) | Denim: Zara (old – similar here) | Purse: Le Chateau | Shoes: Forever 21 (similar here) Happy Monday! I know I always talk about the weather but when your Canadian you take advantage of every warm day possible! Spring tends to be really up and down here but Sunday was beaaaaaaautiful! I wore this cute number for our weekly date in the city last week and was even crazy enough to pair it with some heeled sandals (clearly a bit of a stretch for the weather, but that’s okay!). Honestly, I don’t always dress appropriate for the weather as soon as Spring hits. When Winter is full blown you’ll always catch me bundled up like the abominable snowman. But when Spring comes in March, tights and heavy winter jackets are totally out of the picture (unless it’s really cold, then I bring them out cause #iaintabouttofreeze). I am definitely a complete hater against Winter so I cherish every day that I can dress for Spring! One of my favorite Spring looks as of late has been bell sleeves and blush everything! It literally is so easy to wear and is such an effortless look every time. I even wrote a blog post with why you need bell sleeves in your closet for Spring, you can find that post here. I snagged this top for 50% off at Missguided! They have been my go-to for bell sleeve tops and Spring essentials. And for half off the price you obviously can’t go…
